Rancé

Rancé is a family owned company founded in 1795 in Grasse, France. This factory used high quality flowers cultivated in the Grasse countryside to produce extracts, distilled flower waters, cologne waters and perfumed creams. Perfumed beauty soaps were always highly successful and Rancé products became famous quickly. Napoleon, a lover of perfumes, became the most illustrious customer. Rancé dedicated to him “Le parfum de Vainqueur” (Perfume of the Conqueror) which was his favorite.
At the end of the 19th century, Rancé family relocated their business to Milan, Italy. La Maison Rancé continues to make exquisite products with their Old World craftsmanship dedicated to beauty and quality.
